Canada Day Festivities In Greenfield Park
“For several years, Canada Day festivities have taken place at Empire Park in the borough of Greenfield Park. The tradition continues again this year. On July 1st, the festivities will begin at 1:30 p.m. with a parade that will travel a 4 km distance and end at Empire Park around 10 p.m.
Complete program:
1:30 p.m.: Parade
3:00 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.: Family entertainment
3:30 p.m.: Official ceremony. National anthem performed by Jacqueline Pierre, police officer with the Longueuil Agglomeration Police Service (SPAL)
6:00 p.m.: Traditional dance performances and entertainment with Les Mutins de Longueuil
7:00 p.m.: Entertainment and DJ set with Barbada
8:00 p.m.: Rita Baga and her band
9:00 p.m.: Juggling show with Monsieur Poï
9:20 p.m.: Rita Baga and her band
10:00 p.m.: End of festivities

In our continuous effort to keep Alex’s memory alive, we will be hosting our 3rd Annual Alex Lacireno Memorial Hockey Tournament.
We ask each participant for a 20$ donation. All proceeds will be given to both HRHS & CRHS.
